Description: 7 3/4” stethoscope with very nicely turned stem. The Ear piece is slightly convex and is 1 3/4” in diameter. The bell is 1 1/2” deep and 1 5/8” in diameter at the opening tapering to the width of the stem which averages 1/2”. The wood is stained dark brown, possibly ash. This is an unusual design in that the ear piece is small, the bell rather large in proportion and the shape of the ear piece has an exaggerated convexity. The bell and the earpiece can be unsrewed from two bulbous ends on the stem.
