Description: 7.5“x 3 3/8 × 1.25” oak box containing directions and price in label on top plus a Pilling special bowles stethoscope pat date 6/25/01. S28386 serial number, there is a protective metal plate over the Bakelite chest piece which is 1.75” diameter reads this cover to be taken off before using stethoscope. Standard earpiece. This remained the standard of twentieth century stethoscopes for more than 50 years.
